Which trim level LS, LT or LTZ

The one in the showroom had the LS trim package but it was actually loaded to the tits with GM accessories. Lots of goodies in there including custom leather seating. Manual transfer case too! I love my LT but I wish it had the old school manual instead of auto.

I was @ the dealer in Peterborough, Ontario last week & they had @ least 2 "Cheyennes". IIRC, the emblem was small & just below the Silverado badging on the doors.

Looks just to be a fancy name plate they put on these with some extra GM accessories so they can sell an SL for an SLE price. Like my boss at a camper store once told me. Slap an XL or Limited Edition sticker on it and people gota have it. LOL

I just bought my Silverado branded Cheyenne Edition last friday. This edition is an upgrade to the LS trim wich includes

 

• the 4.8 Vortec V8
  
• the 17 inch chrome wheels,
  
• Front chrome bumper with body-coloured end cap
  
• Z85 Handling/Trailering Suspension (Extended Cab models)
  
• Chrome grille surround
  
• Deep-tinted glass on all windows behind front doors
  
• Body-coloured bodyside mouldings
  
• Remote keyless entry system
  
• CD player with MP3 playback compatibility
  
• Power windows, door locks and rear side windows
  
• Cruise control
  
• Colour-keyed carpeting
  

Love this truck, good compromise between the basic and full equiped.

The dealer where i bought my truck explained to me that not all Silverado Cheyenne Edition have the Emblem on them.

 

Cheyenne Edition is an upgrade package for LS models only

 

But if you have the LS with the equipment showned in the image i joined (an image capture from GM Canada www site), you have a Cheyenne Edition even if it's not branded so.

 

Mine is branded as a Cheyenne Edition.

Just saw a Silverado on the freeway. The door and tailgate badging read "CHEYENNE" instead of "SILVERADO". Not sure if that is the model from Mexico. Looked kinda cool.

They look exactly like the image in the first post. Chrome letters on a black background. The Sierra Nevada edition gets some mountain peaks above the word Sierra in chrome with black shadowing, and the words Nevada Edition below, black letters, chrome background. In Ontario, they have been pushing these two models with the emblems for about 2 months now.

that´s exactly the model from Mexico and which is also sold here in Germany. It´s the same what is sold in the US as SILVERADO with the LTZ trim. One bad thing about it is you can´t get it with the 6.2l until now...maybe later.

 

And yes GM sells Silverados in Mexico, it´s just nothing else but a pure work truck with no goodies at all...and you can get it with a 5 speed manual transmission there but only coupled with the 4.3l V6...

The one the OP posted on can be ordered from Morgan Design Group... I ordered a set for my sierra from them. they take a CC and ship it out fast. SOme people might not be into badging but I think it sets my truck off..
