Like it says, I am off to Korea for a year on Sunday and my truck will pretty much just sit. Getting a new one when I get back. My wife has told me that she will drive it a little bit, but not much. Thanks to everyone on here who not only helped me out, but who gave me hell too. Dave

Are you going to sell your current truck for the new one when u get back?

Probably, but I am not sure yet. All depends on the market. My other one is paid for, and I can't say that I am in a hurry to have another payment. I do want a crew cab with the 6.2 though.

I've been over there for a year myself back in 2000. I was stationed at Kunsan AB. My wife took my truck out once in a while to keep things lubricated. Plus she just likes to drive it.

The hardest part was being away from my twin 2yr girls back then.

Be safe, at least with skype now you can communicate better. Back in 2000 they didn't have high speed internet over there yet.

That was my last duty assignment... you going to Osan or Kunsan or other? As black02silverado stated, you will have highspeed internet over there, not cable but DSL its better than dial up. Enjoy your time there, I had a blast and explored the country with who at the time was my girlfriend and now wife (military also). Enjoy the snow also and cold a$$ winters and dont JUICE (you will find out what that means). Drink up too... have fun and be safe and visit the DMZ if you get a chance.
