Thanks for the update...I really hope this fix works.

Any idea what's involved in this? Can't find anything on the internet about it (because it's so new)....THANK YOU

Thanks, I will be checking with the dealer. Guess I need to sign up with All-data to check TSBs. Dealers seldom call even if you have been in for the issue.

I went to the dealer to look at the service bulletin #10-08-58-001A it looks like they have an fix it's 15 pages long . looks like I need some 3m strip calk and some free time. I will let you know how it turns out. Has anyone else had it done yet?

yep..you're right...15 pages long. There's about 4 things that have to be done.

The dealer inspected mine and said they're going to go ahead and do everything on the bulletin after driving it. At least they did say that there was noise, and they even said that there was more ROAD noise than wind noise, which is my opinion also.

One of the fixes is replacing the insulation that leaves exposed cab down in the corners just under the rear seat. Then there's other parts about using some type of body sealer in a few places, etc. Honestly, I don't think this will fix it because the rear vent is going to be the problem. This can't hurt though. The vents are open, the noise comes right up from the road and travels right through the open vents when the A/C is on and makes the "sounds like my rear passenger door is slightly open" sound.

The materials/parts will be in either tomorrow or Monday, so hopefully we'll see what happens by Tuesday of next week.

Thanks for the update. Your "sounds like my rear passenger door is slightly open" is spot on. When I test drove my first 900 CC, I was looking back to make sure the door was closed and window up. Hope it helps in your case. Let us know.

Could you use an air filter type material to cover the inside of the vents? Try stuff pices of t-shirt in the vents maybe?

Hey Kalashluvr please let us know if it is a good fix. I already tried taping the vents shut to see if it helped . Sorry to say it did not help mine. Thanks for the up date.

You taped them shut and no improvement??? That sorta blows alot of theories on the problem. Do you have the 20 inch tire/wheel setup?

I have not had a chance to see dealer on this. Has anyone talked to a dealer on this TSB?

I do have the 20 inch tires & wheels and it makes the noise with both sets of tires. The stock goodyear Ls2 tires were a little to soft for me so I put on a set Goodyear Triple Tread tires and the truck handles much better and 100% better in the rain. But the noise is the same. So I don't think it's in the tires .
