This thing is sweet. 3 year lease turn in with 21,400 miles. A few minor dings... i expect my wife to do worse though! It's also nice having a vehicle that already has its first "scratch" so i dont have to get pissed off when its not "perfect" anymore

Hindsight being 20/20 I knew I was getting the jeep for the Edmunds recommended price. Normally I am able to get below that but this took some dealing.... Being that this was a lease turn in as opposed to a trade-in, i have a feeling that the residual value from the lease terms generated in 2007 was high. Whereas if this was a trade-in, then the dealer would only have had ~18k vested and probably would have went down to 23-24k pretty easily when i made my "final offer".

Can't complain though.. i got it for $24,925 as a "Certified Used" so it has 6yr 80k mile warranty and Edmunds had it valued at $25,300 for this type of purchase.

Looks sharp

Not to impressed with crash ratings of these...just this month there was a head on traffic accident involving one of these and it turned out to be a fatality.

The '07 Commander got 5 star in both front and side impact.. But that doesn't matter when you have two heavy ass machines heading straight for each other.

nice car seat, we had the same one. Switched to a convertible when we got sick of carrying it around.

Thanks guys.

I was just playing around with some of the features... I gotta admit... im JEALOUS!! My wife has a kickass vehicle :D

#1: It's FULL Time 4x4 WITH the option of 4LOW

#2: It has an automatic electronic limited slip diff in the rear AND front diffs

#3: I just set up her bluetooth

#4: The NAV system is just plain awesome

#5: Not only does it have a sunroof.. but it has those two additional skylights. I wish my truck at least had a sunroof...wtf kind of Denali doesnt have a sun-roof? :D

After playing around with it for a bit, im even happier with the purchase. This vehicle is amazing.... (and they look good with 4" lift on 32s :D )
