Hey Guys, Great site! i was directed this way from a member of dootalk, anywho i just bought a 2003 GMC sierra with 80000 km on it . I am now gonna be making it my own like all my other toys haha, i got a 2 inch tuff coutry lift kit put on which was torsion keys up front and an add a leaf in the rear, i was wondering what tires would fit? i have 268/75/r16 now and would like to go to 285/75/r16 duratrack's or open country MT, there is also a good price on a set of MTR's that are 305/70r/16, would these fit the stock rims ? will they rub at all, thanks for all the answers in advance, i love forums!!

nice truck.. i have nearly the same setup truck ECSB 5.3 i would highly reccomend a flowmaster american thunder exhaust, any intake will do, volant being the best but most expensive.. ( i got my K&N free) and i have a superchips programer. the programer is awesome, made my shifts and response WAAAAAY better, definatley worth it. it has multiple settings to such as heavy tow, light tow, fuel saver, max performance, and you can return it back to stock if you want... i know everyone will tell you to go with blackbear but i am verry happy with superchips.

Yeah, the 285's will fit just fine. I did the same thing on my 2000 and my 2006. I have also seen 305's on these trucks before. They might fit, because they are the about the same overall height as the 285's, they're just wider. Personally, I think the 305's are a little too wide for the stock 16x7 rims. I'd go with the 285's. I think they'll wear better and have less of a chance of rubbing.
