How Far Did You Go To Buy Your Truck?

Just wondering for fun how many people made a long road trip to buy their truck? Tell me what you bought and how far you went.

I bought a 2004 2500HD CCLB 8.1L/Allison with 52,000 miles. Drove 5 hours/ 275 miles one way to get it.

My truck (2nd hand) came from PA, but I didn't have to go get it. It was shipped to Ontario for me. ;)

Left house at 6:00 am had found 20 trucks to look at in the next 325 miles, stopped and looked at dealerships along the way, found one or two that I liked better but the price on the one I bought was the best deal to me. I paid for by truck and left going back home at 7:30 pm.

My 2010 came 800 km from Quebec to Ontario, but I didn't drive it! Dealer picked it, and another one, up and traded a couple Equinox's for them. Apparently they just can't get enough of those things in Quebec, lol.

46 Miles (1 way) LOL

This is the 1st time that I've bought any of my vehicles that the dealer wasn't 5 minutes away. When I bought my '94 I think the drive was around 15 minutes.

we live in orlando and dad bought his truck while out in dallas. saved over $3k on the price of a truck by buying it in dallas. While the sole purpose of the trip wasn't to buy a new truck it was one of the main objectives
