Removing Fron Valance ? Gmt 900

I've seen a few people with there's off. anyone know how to take it off ? do I need to remove the whole bumper ? is it just those two screws under there ?

 

the front valance is that front "scrape guard " below the front bumper

Just remove the two screws. It does kind of snap together near the middle but once those screws are removed it will basically pull off.

I just removed mine this past weekend, instant 2 1/2" more clearance for the front bumper, I like free mods.

I dunno if I'd take it off if I had a GMC, it looks like it belongs more, but with the silverado, I took mine off earlier today and love the way it looks. but I did it mostly for the added ground clearance

after seeing that gmt800 Silvy Z71 high centered on the same snow i plowed through today i look at it like instant 2 1/2" more plowing ability lol

Removed mine today actually. Took like 5 minutes. Hardest part was just unscrewing the two screws on either side of the valence. I love the way it looked. If you don't like the look then just pop it back on. No big deal.

I removed mine, didn't realise it had a bunch of cracks throughout it. Seeing as how gm didn't make a truck that could clear a parking stall curb.

easy to remove, the two bolts on the outer corners and the rest is a snap, litterally. looks good and adds clearance.
