Want to scare yourself? Go to Spokeo.com and type your name in. They knew my address, my age, my wifes name, how long I lived in my house, how much my house was worth, and even had an aerial satellite picture of my house!! :lol: And if you pay a fee it says you can get the full profile. I don't even want to imagine whats in there. If you click on the privacy link at the bottom of the page you can remove your listing. Just a heads up. http://www.spokeo.com/

Most of the info they had on me was either wrong or old...the address they had for me was 3 addresses ago and still a state behind

Good God I hope they are wrong on home value....I paid a lot more than that....and I've been watching the market in my area, they ARE way off

Amazing how much information a site like this publishes, most of which is incorrect. Says my household contains 2 parents and 3 children. My parents have been deceased for 17 and 13 years, and others listed in the profile have the same last name as me but no relationship. They were the purchasers of a home I sold north of San Antonio, Texas in 2006. Very funny.

Spokeo was pretty off. Says I was married, and unless I was really drunk when it happened, I'm not! Also, I think they based home value off of taxable value, because they have mine at about 70k less then the last appraisal the county fiscal office did.
