House / Land Forums?

Building a new house and a barn on some land soon and was looking for some good active forums for the like.

I'm on a couple forums now, but they are more geared toward garages and heavy fab work.

Any suggestions?

Don't have any forums to suggest.

Highly suggest a trip to the IBS Trade Show in Orlando. All manufacturers represented. Only open to trade but easy to get around that. Also recommend the EXH Trade Show.

There are other trade shows for Post and Beam and also Log Homes.

You don't really state if you are building this. Or a general contractor. If you are up North or down South.

I think a trip to Orlando is probably out of the question, but thanks though!

yeah. Don't go to GarageJournal.com. Those forums will have you 100k in debt before you even get the first stick on your barn stood up!

Told you.

Found the one where the guy's neighborhood association wouldn't let him build his garage-mahal because it was going to be too tall...So he built 75% of it underground, along with a hobby room and a theater...With a FREAKIN SECRET TUNNEL going to his house? That dude had to have dropped a half-million bucks into that project.
