Does it say what they're made of? Steel? (he said, hopefully)... :dunno:

It doesn't,But the rest are plastic,so I'm 99.9% sure these are plastic as well.

I almost went GMC when I bought my Silverado. I think with a chrome bumper I'd like the front end of my Chevy better than GMC. But as it stands right now, I like the GMC front sheetmetal better. However, I like the sheetmetal coving and taillights on the side of the bed better on the Chevys, so for me there are good and bad things about both makes.

Using the "build your own" feature online, Custom Chrome front bumper package is $150. Stats "includes chrome bumper bar, chrome end caps and silver painted lower trim" what do you think the silver painted trim would look like?

Anyone seen a truck w/ this package yet?

That's the main reason I bought a GMC, the front bumper looks so much better. I love Chevys but as far as the front bumpers go I've seen more attractive cow catchers on the front of locomotives. No offense intended.

You can the caps on eBay for about $275 for the pair. I have no idea what the quality is like, but they are not covers. They are actual replacements.

Yeah there's one vendor selling the pair of chrome replacement corners for $275.00 (1overstockautoparts or something like that). I went to view the seller feedback and past auctions and it seems everyone who bought the chrome corners is happy with them. I saw in the past auctions that some of the people who bought the chrome corners got them for way less than the $275 asking price, so I emailed the seller asking if he would take $175 for the pair but he declined.

Found a real pic (looks like a GM stock photo) of the chrome front bumper package on Motor Trend. Can't say I'm crazy about the silver tow-hook area though. Looks mismatched.

I've put chrome corners on my Silverado as well (see sig), love the look.
