Where is a good place to order a DIC to that ships to canada?

went to the dealer and they tried to tell me if the machine isnt shipped with it already installed that you cant get it but i know that isnt true.

so is there anywhere in canada or will i just have to order from Ebay?

I buy all of my factory parts from shopgmparts.com they are a dealership in Pennsylvania, good prices and reasonable shipping and very easy to deal with and they will ship you anything it seems, I got my denali lower bumper from there.

Go back to the dealer and ask them to show you the GmAccessories catalog for your vehicle. You will find it listed in there. Part number is 19159438. I use www.boyerpontiac.com and then select Accessorize Your Vehicle. That site includes labour in the pricing, but if you add the part to your basket, you can then select remove labour when you view your cart to see the real price. On that site is lists for $122.50. Before everyone jumps in saying it is far cheaper in the states, you need to add in the shipping and brokerage fees to get it here.

Or you could just order the switch and make the cut-out in your own panel. If I could do it, I'm sure that you can. Switch would probably be under $45 up there.

I called a GM dealer in town, they ordered it in for me took 2 days a cost 75 bucks.....Installed in 4 min and its a great toy. Go to another dealership.

They lied to you. I bought mine from the local Chevy dealer. They had it in stock, I paid and walked out with it. Go to a different dealer.

I paid $90 canadian. Just haggle. They dont need to seel it for MSRP.

That was about what I paid as well with taxes in Ontario. The OP may be limited due to living on the rock.

Paid $92 from my dealer and yeah, go to another dealer if they won't order it for you. My parts guys were interested to see if it worked so they could sell more to other people. I actually did the install in the parking lot with the parts manager sitting in the passenger seat watching.

They are living in the past. That was pretty much true for GMT800 trucks. Even on those it could be added , but it was rather costly.
