Checked out your build thread. Maybe I didn't see it but have you or are you planning on some performance mods?? Think you got the exterior locked down! Time for some go-fast to match its looks!!!

I really want to but it's a 4.slowwww unfortunately so I'll more than likely drive it till it messes up, not most on here's style but thinking I'm going to bag it first then replace the motor later on. It'll be my project for awhile since its paid off and will one day not be my daily. I also won a free 3-link so that sways my decision a tad.

i think it could use some chrome GM 20's of his choice

I had the polished ones but needed cash so I sold them and snagged a machined set from a friend dirt cheap. Wanted some ck375's for it.

Just throw a blower on it. Don't count out the 4.8, it has no AFM

They all have that classic set of lines. All these RCSB trucks, from mild to heavily modded, all contain that classic truck DNA. They "just look like" what a truck should be. No better proportions, IMHO. My compliments to each and every one.

Chawkins, it's worse than that. It's a v6 :( lol def don't count out the 4.8, I have a buddy with one with a cam, stall, 125 shot, cal-tracs, and a few other things and its a fun truck.

Here is a pic from 2009 when I bought a 2005 RCSB and sold a 1996. and another pic from last summer with new wheels. Runs good with 5.3 and dynatech LTs and Diablew tune. Would like to put a turbo on, they are getting popular around here!!

I just bought one from a friend who had a unfortunate accident with a steel cable barrier. It's a long bed fleet side I plan on changing to a short bed step side. My summer cruising truck. 4.8l runs great drives great it just needs some metal work. I'm going back all black.

Are you gonna cut the frame to get the new bed to fit or do a whole frame swap?
