I bought a 2011 Silverado with a 6.2 about a month back. Has anyone with a new truck feel that the air is not cold enough. I need to bring mine in. It's not nearly as cold as my 2008 was.

Take care,

Matt

Could just be low. When I bought my '00 I found it wasn't cold, they checked it, and it wasn't fully topped up.

Definitely get it looked at- for all of GMs faults over the years one constant has been their AC systems will freeze you out even on the hottest days. I haven't had this truck in hot weather yet but both my Jimmy and my 03 1500 I couldn't leave the AC on max other than to initially cool off the cab otherwise it'd get too damn cold.

Yes, I agree with you 100%. My 04 and 08 were super cold compared to the new truck. I will try to get it into the dealer this week.

Mine would blow cold on the passenger side and warm on the driver's side even though I didn't have the dual climate on and it was set to 60 degrees. It turned out there was an actuator in the dash that was messed up.
