Really wish they would not play music in those type of videos. I want to hear the car, not some canned music.

How come GM always seems to follow the other manufacturers? Has GM ever been first at releasing something?

hmm.. but in some cases that follow not lead mentality leads to a better product than that of the leaders..

This unit for example puts the Dodge to shame, pricing in about $10K less, but it has so much more power and opportunity for modding, where the Dodge is tunning locked and just a dressed up street car with fancy stickers and over priced special paint colors.. Oh and $15K additional "Special Pricing" over the street model, but with no real track benefits..

I dont see why they would make the base model with a 327 (5.3l) engine and offer the 427 as an option, even though both are drag cars, I would probably go for the bigger engine.

the 5.3 has a supercharger, it would be a tough choice for me :)

ZL1> copo

the copo rims are UGLY imo

it's a track car, running 16" wheels with drag radials, not designed to be driven on a streets.. only the track...

There are drag radials that are street legal.

Well.for.an.update, the copo with the 5.3 with a 4.0L Whipple ran 8.88's 1/4 mile; looks as though this is going to be the drag king, even surpassing the cobra jet IMO. Wonder how quick.it.would fly if some.one supercharged their 427?
