Anyone know what a stock 6.2 ( truck) is doing the quarter in?..I'm hearing 14.9 to 15.9. Thought the hemis were running high 15's already..before they bumped the horsepower up in the ram.

high 13's low 14's

Edit:

Every time slip I've seen has been with 3.42 gears. I'd suspect that having 3.73's gears would get you a solid high 13's.

Best time I've netted so far with mine is a 14.6 at 96.3 mph. That's traction control off and the rear tires (factory Z71 18's) rolling in smoke for the first 20-30 feet. If I left the traction control on then yes, 15.8's easy. I'd love to get mine on a set of half bald Eagle LS's with some traction compound down in auto 4WD and see what it does. I'd be willing to bet if I could get it to hook instead of spin for half of the first 60' (60' times were HORRIBLE as you would guess, btw) it should pull down a good very high 13 or 14 flat time.

My buddies '11 Hemi/EX Cab/SB with factory 20's couldn't break into the 15's. 16.3 was his best.

I would say low 14's to mid 14's. Hemis are very high 15's and low 16's.

The L9H doesn't have AFM. Only the L99 does. He is however correct about the LS3 not having VVT or being E85 compatable.

Sorry for dragging this on... I recently bought a 2011 Sierra Denali. (L9H, right?) I was under the impression from all I had read that it has AFM. Was I incorrect? I hope so... I can do without the AFM, thank you. :)

Denali's got the L94 6.2 which DOES have AFM.

Thank you. I still wish I didn't have the AFM. :nonod:

My bad, my eyes jumped down a few lines in the engine application roster. L94's were for 6.2 utility applications only so a Sierra Denali 1500 series, should have the L9H not the L94.

Well I think that's really good news for me! I also agree with 11Silvy. I plan on a custom tune soon, and if I had the AFM, I would have planned to have it removed. Thanks, again.

Thanks for checking. Yep, my build sheet says L9H engine

The best part is that I had the forcast '12 powertrain build/install sheet right in front of me when I was making that post. Oh well. LOL.

Just received my decal today. Thanks 2010LTZ4x4 & Ryan for posting the info for it. Peter @ Top Flights helped me and got me the emblem 4 days after I sent payment! That's fast! Looks great!:thumbs:
