thanks, sounds like I'm really not missing out on much... don't need the 3.73's, nor the extra leaf. I appreciate the feedback, this place rocks!

What's this differance between the LH9 6.2L and the LS3 6.2L

This is great!

Thanks RyanbabZ71 for making a sticky on the 6.2

Where did you get the 6.2L badge in you avatar?

L9H has VVT and the LS3 doesn't. Also I believe the LS3 has different valvesprings and valves and a different head casting number since they are produced in different locations.

Please correct me if I am wrong but, aren't some of the 5.3Ls and a few other GM engines also labeled as LH9 too? When I was trying to google this I was coming up with a few engine options making it confusing. Can I assume that they all use the same valves/spings and head designs then?

Heres the info for the 6.2L badge

Thanks :D

Do you just have the one on your tailgate? Pictures please Thanks

Putting that in google right now gave me more info in my search

L9H

Generation: IV

Type: 6.2L All Aluminum V8

First Year: 2009

From what I found the main differance is and are specific features to the L9H:

I was the first to have those top flight badges and dont forget that :)

Search over in the appearance section for a thread I created to vote on where I should have put them. There are pics with me holding it up in various locations on the truck.

Bigger rims = a lower tow rating.
