2003 Yukon XL Electrical issues

Getting frustrated! 2003 GMC Yukon XL with 160,000 miles. Runs like a dream, except recently, started having electrical issues. Started with sluggish start. Assumed starter was going bad, but it was still cranking, so I just kept waiting for it to go out. Then the battery died, and after we replaced it (only 18 months old) it idled funny. Hoping it just needed to cycle and it ran OK after about 50 miles. Two months later, hit a bump and the ABS light came on, then every light started flashing, the door locks started locking/unlocking untouched and it started idling low. If you got below 10 mph, it stalled out. Pull over, recrank, go a few miles - limped home like this. Took it to the mechanic and they took 2 days to replace wire harness and a few other wires they felt were causing the short outs - $500 later. No more sluggish start running better than ever.

Now - just 4 days later - the Reduced Engine Power light has come on and it won't go more than 20 mph. Turned it off, let it sit - restarted fine, running ok again, but Check Engine light is on. Ran a diagnostic and it came back with 2 codes: B0298 ABS - Power train control Malfunction and P1518 Throttle Actuator Control Module Serial Data Circuit. I am no mechanic - I will not be doing much myself. But I really need some input before I take it back to the mechanic and they start replacing $500 parts trying to fix it.

Thanks!
