What did you do with your truck/shop today

I pulled a 11 X 8.5 brick 500 miles today at 75 mph it hung around 8.9 MPG!!! Only got up to 9.4 at 65 so balls to the wall for me!!! Gawd I glad I don't sitll have the gas burner. Never got above 1750 rpm.

How was its first time with the lift?

Danny, how big a boat we talking about?? I will post a picture of the trailer when I hook back up on Wednesday to make the next towing leg of this trip. Went 388 miles today taking the wife where she wanted to go at 19.7 mpg running 70 to 75 most of the time.

Spent my day working on a 03 Silverado Z71. Installed the K&N intake that was on my truck and fixed the speedo and fuel stepper motors.

Well they did actually charge me with it, but luckily when they contacted my commander and he came to the scene he took one look at me, laughed and then proceeded to chew out the cops for everything because he could tell I hadn't been drinkin and said they will here from their commander about trying to punish someone for doing the right thing... score two points for my commander

 

Oh and he also told them that when he checks on Monday there better be nothing on my record

To wake a commander up in the middle of the night is a death sentence lol. Always a plus when you get a good commander who takes care of his/her troops.
