How many miles on that one Zach?

190,000

I made it go away temporarily 1-2000 miles ago, but it's permanently back now.

Ahh ok, I guess I've got some time to do the AFM delete before things begin self destructing. Mine just turned 77k miles today.

I've been told by several people that I'm lucky it lasted this long. Said they see this happen between 90,000 & 110,000 more regularly.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'd better start spending some money on this thing ... as if I haven't already.

My brother has an EFI Live setup he wants to sell me ... but damn it's expensive ...

That's one of the ones I'm looking at. Definitely not cheap, but one of the ones to use for a Blackbear tune. Edited by ZachM1

Arthritis and my spinal problems, combined with lack if a 5 inch deep 18mm socket has taken its toll. I just got one spring compressed but need the socket for the top nut Tomorrow morning I'm waving the white flag and taking it to the nearby tire shop to have them swap the spring to the new assembly(compress the other spring and remove that friggin nut.) I'll rebuild myself and have them decompress and reinstall the nut, take the assembky back home and finish myself.

Oh, and my home AC is fllipping out. Probably going to order a new home AC :(

Yup my dads went out at 105k. Luckily we buy all our vehicles through this one dealership and they let him buy an extended warranty which covered half the cost of the repair

Those friggin strut springs on the 07 up Silverados are INSANE. The wire size is fatter than anything I've ever seen for a half ton, and the spring tension is enormous. I have a heavy duty (but chinese) spring compressor that bent trying to compress mine, and it didn't flinch 1mm! Nobody around any automotive shops had a press that would handle these. Had to go to the dealer with the strut assemblies, and have them install the 2 Bilsteins for $90.

I'd imagine this spring under tension would be like a small IED ...

STACKS

I'm not into loud exhaust unless I'm romping on it. Surprises passengers better that way.

Stack stacking stackers [emoji23]

I'm usually always romping on it anyways lol. I'm running my catalytic Y pipe with 3 feet of pipe right now so it's pretty close to stacks haha
