Decided it's time is even more likely limited. 2017 CX9 photos leaked. Seats look nice. I like the copper/titanium color combo inside, hope it's available on the colors I'll want. Still 3 or 4 hours until the real pics release with frost drive reports.

It looks bloated, I doubt that's a real picture.

Subie fanboi showed up!

Ahem.... Let's see....

Still looks better than any Subaru ever made. (excluding BRZ).

Here is one after a (dirty!) transport, before detail.

Picked up a used dresser with hutch and a chest last night. Fortunately I remembered to grab enough ratchet straps to keep everything tied down. Seems my truck is being used a truck more and more often lately. Sweet!

Went to a local lake to drown some worms, but mostly just enjoy the beautiful November Florida weather.

I was friggin' freezing in the Panhandle! Just north of Panama City. Was in the upper 40's my first night there. Next day was much better at 76° - I could really get used to that! Love it down there.

Was 26° back home the following morning. :nonod:

Both Mazda and Subaru have some sweet looking equipment out there now! Impressive. I could be seen in either one of those. :D

Press shots rolling out. One thing gives me pause: 250HP...although it makes up for it with 310 Torque. Saying it lost almost 200 pounds so it should still be quicker. 1100.jpg

Will tow 3500#......what kind of moron buys a mid lux 4 cyl Crossover to tow 3500#.....

LMAO! I discovered that too when we moved down here in 2011. And lizards.... They are everywhere and in everything. The one good thing is the lizards eat the huge Florida bugs so I don't mind them as much.

I looked at a 2015 CX3, before I bought the Escape, and I didn't mind the exterior, but the interior suffered from the same old shitty and cheap Mazda interior. And unless they started using a different process on the bodies, they'll be rusted out in 5 years. And not surface rust on the frame, I mean holes in the body…

I looked at the XV from Subaru as well, and I did like it, but the interior seemed dated, not as cheap as the Mazda, but dated… I actually kick myself for not buying it instead, because this Escape has put the last nail in the Ford coffin for me, never again… Complete garbage…

Neighbor has an '09 Escape. I don't blame you there, having worked on this thing a couple times. Ford took a painfully simple design that has been around for decades - the door latch - and incorporated cheap plastic and electronics. This not only made it unreliable, but STUPIDLY expensive at the same time. $340 at Ford - cannot be disassembled to repair the .00001 cent chinese plastic part that broke. Nope! Have to replace the whole assembly. What a friggin joke! Plus, it took 45 minutes for me to extract it. :nonod:

Edited the price - I was $100 too high, but still stupidly priced!
