Just an update. Got some tax money back and went with the eotech magnifier G33 STS. Glad I did. Got it sighted in today. This is a bunch at 150 yards. Need some more time to try and tighten up group bit its close enough to hunt with for sure.

I might go that route. I just want something good, nothing too expensive or too cheap.

As long as its Mil Spec.

PSA makes good stuff. Their barrels are made by FN and are supposed to be among the best out there. The BCG is all to mil spec as well with MPI, staked gas tube bolts, etc.

Any reason you don't want to just buy the parts (lower, upper,etc) and build it yourself so you know it from the inside out? Email today from them and blem lowers at $49.95. What is the twist on the one you are thinking of buying? Carbine or rifle?

Don't know for sure how to go that route and build it myself. That's why I was just gonna get one and small upgrades over time. & rifle

It you buy it complete or buy just the lower, you will have to have either shipped to an FFL. If I were to do it over again, I would buy a stripped lower and put a good trigger group in it FIRST. They pick up the other stuff as you can afford it.

Suppressors. I looked at getting one for my .30-06, but from what the shop told me the permits get pricey.

The tax stamp is $200. Suppressors cost anywhere from $700 to $2000.
