If you search craigslist for pro street, all kinds of goodies come up. The cleaner the exterior the more rapidly the price climbs into the not so affordable range. I like them a little rough. Keeps people on their toes.

I love sleeper vehicles as there the ones you look out for, all the money spent went into the motor and drivetrain and thats when you get your ass handed to ya when you mess with them on the road.

 

You look at them and say to yourself "what A P.O.S i"ll run'um" then you look stupid.

Love it, absolutely Love it. My old man had an old P.O.S. looking 58 Ford F-100 that he did something like this too. Under the hood it had a 427 Side Oiler with a dual quad set up. H.D. 4 speed and a narrowed 9" Ford rear end and the bed was tubbed. He welded railroad rails in the bottom of the bed for traction. It was quite a sleeper.
