take care of it ASAP. the infection from a abscess tooth may/can/will damage your heart valve(s)..if you can, take 2,000 mg of antibiotics first, then 500 mg after that...NOT GIVING OUT FREE MEDICAL ADVICE..JUST PERSONAL EXPERIENCE..

I had this happend about 3 years ago out of the blue. Most agonizing pain if have ever been in. Ended up losing the tooth, thankfully it was just a molar. Wish you luck Chris.

Yeah I've been through this, I now have a crown on one of my molars. The poor tooth has been through so much over the 18 years when the entire inside crumbled.
