Im still waiting on my W2.

I usually get back a couple grand. But I pay extra into it every year, and file single 0.

Sure some might call it a interest free loan for gvmt. But at the beginning of every year, i dont have to pay, and i get back a chk. for $2500+ Great way to save $ and pay off a bill IMO.

Last year i bumped it up to $50 a pay period (2 wks) for federal, and $15 st...

And if you did your taxes right you'd of had that money with each paycheck instead. You're getting back money you earned, I fail to see how that is a perk.

its a perk to me because its another way to save. instead of having that $ throughout the year and trying to save it for something, but usually spending it...Now i get it back in a lump sum to put it on a big bill , or buy something.

Checking out things to do in LA and Anaheim. I'm flying out Thursday morning with the gf and a buddy and his wife. The main goal is Disneyland, 6 flags and knotsberry but we gonna site see. Haven't been there since I was 12 and that was like 16 years ago! People I work with say its fun as an adult too, don't judge lol.

 

My ford feind friend had to rent a chevy Malibu for our rental hahaha

Make sure you stop by Santa Monica. If you don't mind putting miles on that rental cruise up to Monterray Bay and check out the aquarium. I remember it being a pretty drive. I know there's dunes you can rent quads at to play in the sand somewhere, I don't remember where though.

 

You could try deep sea fishing off a big boat, but it was hard on my stomach. On the plus side I had quite an appetite when I finally got back to dry land!

The drive is nice of you stick to Hwy 1. Eat in century city at the Pink Taco. I live about an hour north of six flags. Its a lot better than disneyland. For sightseeing check out Hollywood and Venice beach. A good place for dinner is F. McLintocks in Shell Beach. Amazing steak.

 

I live down here and lived here my whole life except for 3.5 years in the military, so if you have questions ask. I go thru LA at least twice a month. My doctor is down there

 

 

And Danny, the place you're thinking of with dunes is Pismo Beach. That's where I am going on the 15th

The Govt. loves people like you.... Grow a pair and save it yourself. It's foolish to do it the way you are now. One day you may not get it back. Better yet, send me the extra and I'll give it back to you after 1 year
