So I called about a transmission filter for the truck, and apparently there are ones for a deep pan or shallow pan. Which one does a GMT800 have?

Deep pan has the "step" in it. I've never seen the shallow pan on a truck

Just went out and looked, and it definitely has the deep pan. Any idea how difficult it is to disconnect that shift lever?

I've never had a problem getting the two bolts out. Some have. You can bend it over slightly to get the pan out if necessary

Sounds like either a bearing in the tcase or a pinion bearing is bad, hard to tell cause of the driveshaft. FML

Seriously, find a truck near me. I want a reason to get out for a drive. :D

Find me a crew cab leather duramax standard bed with decent miles and a good price and I'll fly out there lol

I know, but truck looks nice. The first two, I was in OKC site by accident. My cookie had me there when I was looking for an old muscle car.
