I don't get anything either- my apt. complex has a no soliciting policy. I got cornered by a kiddo selling pop corn for Cub Scouts once and I felt awful I had no cash because I do try and support them because I remember being little in Cub Scouts and trying to hard to sell that shitty popcorn (its much better now thankfully) and being jealous of the Girl Scouts whose cookies pretty much sold themselves.

showered, put on a nice shirt that's gotten smaller since the last time i wore it (i.e. too much pizza and beer lately), and applied a touch of cologne. i'm somewhat presentable so it's time to get the wife to our dinner reservation. who's got v-day plans tonight? who started with "i think this will be a pretty cheap valentine's day for a change" and ended up with "jesus this holiday is expensive"?
