Watching a show on "Hitler's Supergun". That guy had some crazy engineer's on his side. It's amazing how the crap he had going on is STILL being studied for effectiveness, even if it's obsolete. The super gun had multiple perpendicular chambers that would direct the combustion away and then back to the shell to continuously propel it forward at faster speeds until it left the super long barrel, 80 mile range in testing, theoretical of 100+. The show is about them trying to figure out how it was so accurate. I'm trying to wrap my head around the US Military having the new laser guns, but people still can't figure out German engineering from WWII.

Makes you wonder about the "bell"

Nice. I snapped a pic of one of my cats. Couldn't tell if he was trying to fly, or stretch out ...

Dealer gave me a 2016 Buick Encore as a loaner while they figure out what's wrong with my truck. This thing is tiny and the visibility is horrible. Pillars in the way when trying to check the huge blind spot from the almost useless mirrors and visibility out the rear piss poor as well. Brakes are touchy super touchy but seeing as how light this thing is, and newer, that's to be expected. Took me a couple minutes to figure out how the heck to turn on the wipers lol. Hopefully they figure out what's wrong and fix my truck quickly.

Worst thing is the "trunk" isn't even big enough to fit a dead body comfortably...fail :-p

Wasn't it made for China?

I honestly have no clue I don't really keep up with these car things. I might see something on a suburban every now and then but crossovers don't have any appeal to me.

Visibility sounds alot like my neighbor's '06 Impala. I've never seen such a poorly designed interior in my life. I thought he was backing into things because he's in his 80's ... but after driving the thing, I saw how easily it would be to back into something. Not entirely his fault. A small child could disappear from your view 10' away. Maybe this is GM's way of getting the gov't to mandate backup cameras - more money in their pockets. I see no other reason for such a moronic design.

The mandated safety requirements made the A-pillars the size of tree trunks in my Silverado. Was a shock going from a 70's vehicle, to a 90's, and then to a 00's, all within the span of 6 years. I still hate the visibility in the Silverado when I'm making turns. After 9 years I still can't get used to it. I always used to wonder why everyone driving new vehicles always pulled up crooked at some intersections, back when I had my El Camino as a daily driver - it's so they can see without having to get out of the seat! Driving newer vehicles is more like work now. Instead of sitting comfortably, I have to lean way forward, then way back, just to be sure I don't flatten some pedestrian, or get T-boned by traffic.

All in the name of safety! Go figure ...

I don't think I'd want to see the price of it. Probably not a top trim level but still feels cheaper than my truck. Granted I think my truck is pretty loaded so an unfair comparison, but still. I'd definitely claim my '73 c10 back from the guy who has it (technically still mine since I have the title still) and use whatever the Encore costs to restore it and run the c10 vs the Encore.

I wish I could go back in time and take all the money spent on my Silverado in the purchase price, interest, TAXES, insurance, and repairs, and do a complete frame-off resto of my '72 El Camino. Thing would've been MINT ... and I probably would've had enough left over to buy a early 00's pickup for a winter beater.

Holy resale value Batman! Saw an ad that got my attention.

So Chevy renamed the LTZ to "Premier".

Wonder if this is why:

They have a few for that price. Over 10K drop in under a year! Yikes! 10K drop on a 36K car is nuts IMO. The Maxima's lost around 6k, and it's a more expensive car. Even for the miles that seems steep, GM needs to get their pricing in line to what they actually sell for. Does brand image just not matter any more? Ford is guilty too, Fusions and Taurus is just as bad. First I've seen a GM drop so fast.

On the good side, those are a pretty good deal used.
