Yeah, it's getting to be that time, lol. They've had it since new. 17 years, and they're not big on maintenance. This thing has plow TONS of snow over the years.

Sounds like they put the ABS unit in a decent spot atleast. I despise where it's located on my truck.

Oh yeah, didn't they throw that underneath the truck? Great idea for those of us in the salt belt ...

That's the point, when it rusts off it doubles as an anchor!

I couldn't remember if that's where it was. I'm under so many vehicles I lose track.

In Arkansas yout CCP looks just like DL even uses the same picture. I don't know if it is legal ID or not but when the clerk asks for an ID and you whip it out their attitude changes pretty quick!!! :jester:

Nissans are great for DIY'ers - need to go to the dealer to get codes cleared from the ECM. If not, the procedure is absolutely ridiculous, and will have you pulling your hair out if you don't have a stopwatch. What a joke! I wouldn't take one if it were given to me ...

Is that some pre-OBDII stuff? Obviously on anything 96 and later you can just clear it with a scan tool. Frankly by now with how cheap the bluetooth dongles are there is zero excuse not to be able to pull codes if you're a DIY'er in 2016.

Everything says govt.-issued photo ID. So you can absolutely use it for "official" purposes.

There was something on my brother's early '00's Maxima that required a whole bunch of convoluted b/s that pretty much directed you to a dealer. We gave up and he sold it.

Something with the EVAP system. My scan tool couldn't do a thing.

It's easy to get at with a lift at least. [emoji38] There really isn't an easier to work on vehicle than the 800's.

I was being scarastic. I guess you missed my thread when the Titan came out how the "nearly HD truck" had ratings barely over half tons.

Oh and That one guy towed one with his eyelids or teeth or whatever.

I stand corrected! :)

Changed the oil in the Cruze today. Currently at 41k miles. Oil drain plug finally rounded off. Had to use a bolt extractor to get it out. Glad I keep a spare plug.

So... is that dip stick reflective of BEFORE or AFTER you wiped it off?
