My black Elite keeps having a stupid disk read issue. It happens so randomly, and it only does it like once every other month. A few days ago the piece of junk kept shutting off when I'd hit the eject button. Unplugged everything from the wall for 10 minutes, and it worked fine. Decided to switch it with the white one in the bedroom, and now it's acting stupid sometimes. I'm tired of it.

is it just me, or does the air filter interval listed on page 6-5 not make much sense?

"change at oil equivalent, max interval of 36 months" so you look at the oil interval which says "max interval, 12 months"

some of the others schedules list anywhere from 2--36 months, depending on conditions and country of operation.

I think I'll just stick to 18 months, or 24 it if looks good at 18.

was getting ready to order new filters for the honda and noticed it says not to bother until it tells you (2 years). still doing the tiny transmission filter and fluid, since history has shown Honda makes their transmissions out of toothpicks and glass, and they only hold like 4 quarts of fluid so its cheap anyway.

That's odd. I've never had an issue and mine is used a lot for YouTube and streaming plus some games like Forza, GTA, and lately Stardew Valley. I've had mine since Sept 2014 and it was the Kinect 500 go unit that I think may have came with Forza 5. The worst problem I have had is with soft locks on Stardew Valley or various internet issues when I had U-Verse

I just go by mileage. The Cruze is recommended at every 45k for a new air filter. Thing is huge.

Any particular reason for a laptop instead of a small form factor? You can build a BA system for the cost of mid level "gaming laptop." Other than the portability aspect I guess, then again if you're just going to friend's houses a small form factor would still be a better option. Maybe I'm just cheap and hate going out but I always look at the price of a decent gaming laptop and say screw it I'll build my own small form factor one day. Maybe then I'll go to LAN parties and socialize more.

Newegg currently has an ASUS ROG laptop on sale for $1299, regular retail is $2200-2500. Expect to get about $150-200 for Xbox 1 (1st gen) and Elites. Xbox S should net about $200-250. I recently purchased a Xbox 1 S BF1 edition brand new in sealed box on craigslist for $250. Need to order a 2TB Seagate SSHD and get that swapped in it.

Same, I just sold my Xbox One Elite to Amazon for $254 so it cost me $-4 to get a 1TB Xbox One S. Before that I spent $100 to get a Xbox One Elite. Then on the original Xbox One I bought 6 on the day of the launch and then sold them for $100-200 over retail. Do all in all my PS4 and Xbox Ones have been free lol.

Can't wait for Scorpio. With good optimization console can perform better than an equivalent GPU card since it's so hard to optimize for all the possibilities on PC. Rise of the Tomb Raider or Killzone Shadow Fall are great examples, I had a 660Ti at the time and those console games looked better with less power pushing them. I did just buy a OC'd 1070, but still happy the console exclusives will look great too.

That said I have read Doom was very well optimized on PC so I'll probably pick that up when I have beat a few games I'm playing now on PC.

Went through 3 360's back in the day too, but one of those was due to lighting so I can't blame that on anyone. No more for me, I'm done with em. They can take Scorpio and shove it.

How do you figure? Not my fault they can't put a disc drive in that doesn't fail, or a machine that doesn't randomly shut off when I hit the eject button. Both 360's had the red ring of death too. That's not my doing either. Never had an issue with any Playstation products. I just can't get past that controller though, Microsoft makes a way better one there.
