We have freedom in our states Chris, we can have pistol grip AR's and 30 round mags. Or drums, whichever we decide to choose

I can keep my ar as is. I have a relatively low cost of living, and sun here. My AR is not too important to me. I haven't shot it in almost 3 years. What has me looking is that cal exit thing that will be voted on in November or June of 2018. I finish my degree in feb 2018.

My 2 cents on Windows 10 since I'm not a real big tech guy like y'all; upgraded for free from Windows 8. Never really liked 8 but it's what they had and I don't use my laptop everyday. 10 just seems to be a lot slower to boot up and like mentioned way back a crap ton of bloatware with focus more on shit I don't even use. Give me back windows xp! [emoji23] [emoji23]

30 round mags are too big for me, they hit the ground when I'm prone. The 20 is shorter than the grip. I was actually looking at grips too, but I might just wrap the one I have with cord.

As far as the software thing: I think 7 was as close to a perfect OS for me as there has ever been. I mean, come on, the indexing is so bad in 10 that if you type in a program half the time it won't find it. I have to use the Edge browser on a school machine, and today it informed me it was the fastest browser available on the home screen. And then it wouldn't let me type into the address bar. Not an isolated issue either. :jester:

What's this safety thing you speak of in a gmt800? Lolol

Compared to new vehicles, they don't have a lot. Which is exactly why I don't want to let any rust away on roads filled with people who think their cars will protect them from anything.

I swear with Windows they only seem to be able to get it right every so many versions.... Windows 98 and XP were good for their times.... I have heard 7 is decent...

Don't get me started with Vista... :nonod: That's actually the version that sent me packing and go to Mac..

Geezz you guys in Cali must have your winter coats on at that temperature.....

Pretty chilly here in Orlando too (freezing for normal natives), thermometer says 42 right now. I think that one is on the back porch. Hooray technology I can sit at my computer and look at my kitchen counter and see the temperature lol

So I got a call from the dealer the extended warranty company won't cover my headlights or my 3rd brake light which I'm not surprised about. What surprises me is they'll cover the lumbar adjustment not working but won't cover the bottom of seat's back half not moving. How does that make sense?

Looks like a hard drive problem, not windows.

I would have to agree.

Those are just the times I caught on camera, towards the end of it's life. That damn computer was a pile of crap from the day I fired it up! Nothing but trouble for 6 straight years. One I had prior (paid $1,200 for that one - Sony Vaio), and the one before that, all the same. Would always eventually end up with malware, root kits, viruses, and any other Microsuck malady that's out there.

There's very little that bothers me with the iMac, aside from the price. Took me a couple weeks to get used to the differences - it was very intuitive overall. I'm not what you'd call "computer savvy", and I had it all figured out in less than a month. No viruses, no sudden loss of internet access, or my printer - it just turns on every day and does what it's supposed to do. After 14 years of dealing with Microsoft, I'll never go back.

Now I go over my 86 year old neighbor's about every week to straighten his out. Has Windows 10. What a waste of money that system is! He'll be buying an iMac soon too. Didn't take me long to talk him into it..
