Not really close to any of those. Closest one is Harrisburg, and we were just there last weekend. I'll save the gas and let them mail it to me.

Well enforcement adds GVWR of both truck and trailer together and it better be below registered weight.

 

Now there is a way around that by removing bed from truck. Then the go by actual truck weight, but not sure if that's still added to GVWR of trailer. There will be 10 to 15 of the trailer weight in the truck.

The reporter wasn't saying a 1-ton truck, they were saying a truck that WEIGHS more than 1 ton. As in a Chevy Luv.

Got a new spotting scope and tripod in today, me and my buddy going out shooting in the morning, can't wait to try this bad boy out

Well this weekend just keeps getting better. Some scumbag got my debit card number and purchased $162 worth of crap at a Wal-Mart, then they tried again for $175 but it was declined. Fraud prevention called me to check it out, I told them it wasn't me so they shut my card off. Now I have to go to the bank on Monday and deal with this crap. Whoever it is I'd like to smash them in the face.

Never had an issue with a CC in my life ... until last year. Both my cards were hacked 6 times between the 2. Pain in the ass.

 

Was pretty simple to take care of though - just called the company, told them I didn't recognize a few charges - they cancelled the card, & shipped out a new one in about a week. Tossed the old card in the fire.

 

Definitely a royal pain in the ass though, since I had everything memorized. Had to learn a new card every few months. I do far too many online transactions to be dealing with that all the time. Ironically, that's where my card got hacked ...

 

Some new cards just issued this year with some computer chip in it. They say that's going to cut down on fraud. All that has done for me is made in-person transactions take 3x as long! :banghead:

Mine had a chip as well, a lot of good that did me. Like you said, all it has done is make paying for something in store a longer process.

I know how you feel. I found a $50 charge on my debit card last month from a correction facility phone. Called USAA and they referred me to thier fraud department. They immediately cancelled my card and refunded me the money. Best part I didnt have to fill out any paperwork or anything. Worst part was having to wait ten days to get a new card. I am just thankful I found it as fast as I did, have to check your accounts every day.

You know for $8 USAA will overnight you a card

In my busy season I really have to work to keep track of all the transactions. Sometimes I'll forget what is what, and it takes me half the afternoon to figure out what is mine, and what isn't.

 

Definitely need to keep an eye on the account constantly these days.

They caught mine immediately thankfully. Must have been because I used my card a few minutes at my local Wal-Mart before it was used at the one over an hour away.

Maye someone got your card number from one of those skimmers they put on gas pumps or ATMs..

      Its coolant disguised as oil.   TSB - 20-NA-166 1..3   "To inspect for this concern, add coolant dye to the system, run the engine through warm up, pressurize the cooling system after warming the engine to operating temperature (let the engine cool overnight) and inspect the suspect cylinder with a borescope for coolant dye evidence. At times it may be necessary to remove the head for inspection. If the head casting line is the concern, the intake port will be wet with a coolant oil mix"

      Can you sample the pooled liquid, enough to confirm it is oil?   ...That its not fuel or coolant.   Also, make sure combustion gases aren't entering the cooling system.   Simply put, either oil being pushed up past the rings (this really isn't possible), oil leaking past the head gasket, oil leaking past the valve, oil entering through the intake air path. If none of this is likely - it may not be oil.   What could be likely is the fuel injector leaking down. A puddle of gas would still smoke and rough idle. (Same cylinder has the same problem after injector replacement?)   What is the crank time first thing in the morning, when the puddle would be present? Does it seem like the high pressure fuel pump needs an extra second or two to rebuild the pressure that injector 8 may have let bleed off? Check the fuel pressure via a scanner prior to starting the engine.

      Good information!  I didn't know about the dementia aspect and asked for a general for my second knee. I'd heard that recovery room time is usually shorter with a general.   The anesthesiologist talked me out of it and I had the spinal.  Inconvenience and/or discomfort is a small price to pay for reduced risk!

      This is for those over 70 years of age contemplating joint replacement surgery involving general anesthesia. Even some 55 yrs. ago when I took my pharmacology class the dangers of developing dementia in the elderly that had general anesthesia were beginning to be recognized. Over the years there has been some refinement in the cautionary warnings, avoid general anesthesia if possible if you've had close to 10 priors, especially over the age of 70 and/or a family history of dementia. I'm not including the twilight anesthesia induced by propofol often used in cytoscopies or colonscopies. Seriously think about seeing a neurologist and undergo cognitive testing before proceeding if any of those criteria apply to you. Spinal anesthesia may be an option in some cases. I'm in the above camp and although I could use a new right knee, I get fidgety according to a prior orthopedic surgeon when the bone saw spools up or maybe it was the smell of saw blade meeting bone, anyhow I may have one general anesthesia left in me which I will pocket for now and I'm choosing mind over mobility, anyway where did I leave my damn cane!
