Old long story, many years ago an older guy think 65-70 at the time had a Hemi Charger that he drag raced allover the AZ, CA area.  Saturday during eliminations he hurt the motor and had time to go back home and put in another engine he had there.  Gets home has extra help and has the motor changed in a couple of hours finished between 7:00-8:00pm on a Saturday night in February fires the car up in his garage with the doors closed just to make sure it would start, shuts it off and uses winch to put back on trailer.  He goes on to win his class on Sunday and then wins the overall stock title.  Monday morning he has a knock on his door and the HOA has paperwork in hand for him to either get rid of race car or move out of the area!!  He says that if he cant sell in 90 days they must pay full market price for home, so on day 89 he has friend drive the car hauler to the front gate he gets into his Charger and lays down one of the most beautiful burnouts you could ever hope to see!!!  The burn out went for nearly a mile before he got to the front gate and pull up onto his hauler.

That is insane... whoever created HOA is a bastard. But what he did is awesome lool

Neighbor kid saw me washing the Camaro zl1 said it was cool, and asked what happened to the Firebird. I thought kids don't care about cars anymore? Maybe there is a little hope for society after all.

Kids still like cars the media really up plays this

Scored one of these. Guy at work went to the 500 and picked one up for me (passing out if you bought a program)

They need to fix those oversized wheels again.

Supposedly because they think they are "Hot".  Hot wheels.  ???

I always thought "wheels" referred to the car itself.. like "that's a sweet set of wheels you're driving"

I'll hopefully be getting a new Cherokee Nation  licence plate soon, if I get my citizenship papers in time(dad and brother have their's so it's just a few papers). I have put it off a long time and my wife was getting annoyed I haven't done it so my kids can get their's already. The subject has gotten me more interested and have read a few, sometimes comical, articles about why so many people *think* they have Cherokee ancestors.

You mean like our delusional, moonbat senator, Elizabeth Warren?

She is an embarrassment to humanity ... not just Massachusetts ...

Well, crap. I was excited for the new Mazda6 Signature 2.5T. They added the reasons I bought my Accord over another 6 last time. But, it's kinda slow. My old 6 V6 could easily best it to 60, my Accord would slaughter it, as the new one is getting 6.4 at Best, and it sounds like it isn't easy to launch smoothly.  The lastest J35 in my honda was just a tamed monster, it lost traction past 6k rpm  yesterday BEFORE the shift. In an Accord. I love the trucks barreling down the highway when I turn onto it and they swerve into the next lane because a Honda pulled out in  front of them, but never catch up.

Mazda has got to stop with this mandatory soccer mom turbo tuning if they want to stay the exciting zoomy Japanese brand.

Mazda just needs someone like HONDATA. I am thinking of dropping the $700 for the Civic. Right now just got an AEM filter on the way. No intake system. Just a panel filter. It’s service time. I already put 3,000 miles on it. Dealer gave me 4 free oil changes, but I’m just doing it and using AMSOIL.

Eh, not sure you want to service it. The on board systems are programmed to go off Honda service recommendations, if the dealer is resetting it each time it will move on to the next step, assuming that the max time has passed. So on your 4th change the car will think it's ready for a major service(on my Accord it's 3x drain and fill of the transmission, with run time between each one) and then if you don't pay for what they want to change the dealer shows you declined that service down the line if there was a warranty issue. Yes the dates and mileage will show there isn't a problem, but you could easily end up with a headache. The code and manual tell you (when you read the manual) specifically when to do EVERYTHING that needs to be done, trans, brake, coolant, etc not just oil like GMs do. It will say A1, A123, B2 etc and you find the corresponding code in the manual. A few fluids are time centered and not mileage, so you change based on years from last. It has NO lifetime fluids, Honda doesn't play that stupid game like GM did.

Honda calls for synthetic oil so there is NO reason to change after 3000 miles, they even design their filter to flow too freely that it gradually fills over two years, to keep maintenance costs down. (I just replace it yearly with a high end restrictive filter some Hondnuts disagree with me, "Honda is the biggest engine builder on the planet, they know what they are doing". I say, some of their services reek of marketing, just read through it and you may come to the same conclusions, but most of their guidelines are standard practice for modern fluids)
