Mystery trash can was in my yard for 6 days. I moved it to the street after 2 days, where it sat for 4 more. I solved the problem with a reciprating saw. The pieces are now sticking out of my trashcan. Let's see if it happens again.

Well friggin valve  did some sort of update and the steam link box barely runs on wired. Runs better on 2.4GHz. I know is the steam link because I just tried the app on my ShieldTV and it works perfectly wired. I'm guessing they are tweaking the interface for the app, and basically everything it's on is much more powerful than the steam link box. So my kids can't play their Lego game in their room and school is ending tomorrow. Thanks valve! Yes I trouble shot(past tense?) Everything in my network, the troubles started since the client update, and my network is entirely Cat6 or 6a. So yeah, it's smoother on 2.4 than wired, which is supposed to be impossible. Might try turning off hardware encoding tomorrow, a few years ago they botched and update and that fixed it until they fixed it.

Hopefilly they make the app for Xbox so I don't have to get another shieldtv.

I haven't used my steam link or controller in quite a while.  Only used them a couple times in the 1-2 years I've had them.  Maybe I should see if my steam link is still hooked up to the TV and see what happens for me.  I'm way too dumb and impatient to get the controller and it's umpteen zillion combinations set up.

Yeah, The steam controller doesn't look fun because of that. That's why I have a lot of Xbox one controllers, they work great with steam, and that's what everything is mapped for(helps my kids)

Yeah the endless customization is great except for someone like me who doesn't have the patience to set it up.  I just want to plug the dang thing in, be able to change my button mapping via the in game menu.  Having to bind the buttons to certain keys and remembering what keys you bound them to to change them in game is beyond me.  Also having never owned a xbox, probably never will, I don't like using those controllers.  Always been PS or PC fan, now more PC than console anything.  I've got a couple Logitech controllers that work fine.  I think I'm just getting over the gaming makers in general.  Hey we'll release this incomplete game and sell you the fixes for it as well as content that should have been in the game to begin with.  We'll just milk you for everything little thing we can!  Sad part is is people continue to buy this "extra stuff" so it's only going to get worse.

I go even further than that.  I wait for the GOTY or all in one version to come out and then wait for that version to go on sale.  Borderlands 2 was the first, last, and only game I've pre-ordered.

So an elderly neighbor that was grandfathered in to the HOA regulations is being forced to get rid of her travel trailer. She kept it nice and even upgraded every few years, but the "gandfathering" was never in writing so here we are 12 years later. Glad I don't have a hobby that doesn't fit in my garage. someone may have set me up a few weeks ago with that trashcan, the one that met my reciprating saw. A few neighbors have possibly labeled me as "uhh, that guy might be unhinged", a thought probably not helped by me mutilating a trashcan in my front yard, the project cars I yelled at, and a garage having this in plain sight.

I get along great with the few people I know next to me, otherwise, I'm fine with it. I'm not loud, don't cause trouble, and don't get involved. I suspect the guy with 9 cars is going to paying fines out his nose soon though.

I'm so glad I don't have a HOA.  Screw paying money to someone who then tells me what I can and can't do with my own property.  That's what the govt is for.  I have enough problems with code enforcement I don't need more crap.  My buddy is catching hell from his HOA.  I'm waiting to see how much crap he's going to get after we troll them.  He has it in writing that in order to have a boat/trailer in the back/side yards he needs to have a 6ft privacy fence.  Well my boat is over 11-13 ft tall so when we get the fence up it'll be above that 6ft privacy fence.  :-D

HOA = voluntary communism, IMO. We've got enough of that in MA with the state government.

They just passed what amounts to a gun confiscation bill - they sold it to the public as a "suicide prevention bill" ... then changed it at the last minute - there is no one mention of suicide in the entire bill! Solely aimed at gun owners. Then to top that one off, they pass a budget north of 40 BILLION, and declare MA a sanctuary state!

UN-F#$%&ING-BELIEVABLE ... but par for the course, with morons like elizabeth warren (name not worthy of capital letters) getting elected somehow ...

My whole damn state is a HOA!!!

If anyone doesn't believe the democrat party has sold itself out lock, stock, and barrel to communism, look no further than the state of MA.

That's MA in a nutshell. One, big government train wreck that I'm continuously extorted for.

Old long story, many years ago an older guy think 65-70 at the time had a Hemi Charger that he drag raced allover the AZ, CA area.  Saturday during eliminations he hurt the motor and had time to go back home and put in another engine he had there.  Gets home has extra help and has the motor changed in a couple of hours finished between 7:00-8:00pm on a Saturday night in February fires the car up in his garage with the doors closed just to make sure it would start, shuts it off and uses winch to put back on trailer.  He goes on to win his class on Sunday and then wins the overall stock title.  Monday morning he has a knock on his door and the HOA has paperwork in hand for him to either get rid of race car or move out of the area!!  He says that if he cant sell in 90 days they must pay full market price for home, so on day 89 he has friend drive the car hauler to the front gate he gets into his Charger and lays down one of the most beautiful burnouts you could ever hope to see!!!  The burn out went for nearly a mile before he got to the front gate and pull up onto his hauler.
