Sadly with only a 1230 mAh battery I see that often. Multiple batteries and power packs to charge the phone at night when out camping on the rivers is a must.

I get that a lot.. big screen uses a lot of power. I try and use phone on power save mode or auto screen brightness but much rather prefer full bright. I have old chargers that I keep near at work and diff parts of House. If im not using it, I usually plug it in.

Use auto screen brightness and then manually adjust those auto levels. For me even using auto the lowest setting was still too bright, or is that not possible on stock roms? It's been so long I don't remember, plus that was 6 or 7 versions ago.

Your sprint, so I hope I get mine soon. I'll do a manual check now....

Crap, isn't out to me yet. I don't get how Sprint does the roll out, there has been more than a day difference between my wife's S4 and Mine on the last update a few months ago.

I think I can get on Samsung Kies software on my PC and force update it when I get home.

You guys Verizon? I remember about 10 years ago chatting with Zane on AIM (yeah) and him trying to convince me to get Verizon(he kept breaking antennas(again, yeah) on his phone and they replaced for free). Problem was they weren't in OK yet.
