Where did you find your painted handles? One thing that annoys me about mine is all the plastic chrome crap on it. Never was a fan really. But the rest of the truck was perfect, so I pulled the pin.

Look on ebay for the handles. Make sure you buy from a reputable seller and confirm they are brand new takeoffs. There is a popular seller with 'gmc' in his name on there that has door and tailgate handles/bezels and is where I bought mine. Think I paid $370 shipped for both.

I love billet grilles on GMC's as can be seen in my sig. So I'm biased. Keep the grille. Maybe color match the surround
