Is the 6.2 engine an AFM type engine?

Chevy put that AFM crap on the 5.3 engine of the truck line. I don't know if the 6.2 has it or not. Does it have it?

Right for the time being, but with the introduction of the new 2014 trucks all of the engines in the trucks get AFM. If you want one without AFM you best be looking for a 2013.

Oh, ok didn't know that. Don't know how hard a '13 6.2 would be to find. My dealer shows 140+ Silverado crews in stock...2 are 6.2's. Maybe the new AFM motors will not have the reputation (deserved or not) of the current gen 5.3 AFM motors..

I built one last night on Chevy's website with the 6.2L in it then I had it look for inventory around my area. It shows you trucks that dealers have with the best possible match to what you have built. None of the ones it found had the 6.2 engine. Their gettin scarce.
