Traded in the 1500

I traded in my 2007 Silverado Classic back in January but haven't posted anything regarding the new to me 2500HD I bought. Missed the height of my last two trucks which were lifted and I also have been helping my Grandfather a lot more around the farm outside of my daytime job. The truck is a 2008 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLE package with the 6.0 and 3.73 rear end. Truck is REALLY clean, no rust, and certified pre owned with powertrain left on it until August. It was totally stock on purchase and I have tinted the windows, totally debadged it including the door trim, added a billet bolt over grille, and cranked the torsion bars up. Within the year exhaust is coming, BlackBear tune if they come to Indy, and here soon I'm throwing some 285/70/17's at it. Hope you guys like it!

Thanks guys! I absolutely love this thing from top to bottom and front to back. This is my first six speed and God I have been missing so much. I'm suprised at how quick this heavy hog is and I can't wait to see what a tune will do for it. I'm just pumped to put a couple pallets of seed in the back of this thing come planting season and not have the 1500 leaf springs screaming at me the whole time. :D

I made the switch back in December last year and don't regret it at all. Mileage is a bit worse but it's ok. Its amazing what you can put in the back, wihout even budging.

I loaded up the back with logs yesterday, 14 very large logs, and it was a treat to move them

Nice! Yeah mpg's haven't been all that terrible, I'm really impressed so far.

congrats! looks great. needs color matched handles and tow mirrors!

Thanks dude!

Nice truck bud!! Ive always like red. Gonna throw some tow mirrors on it??

Thanks man! I absolutely love this thing so far. I really wanted a diesel but couldn't justify the extra cost for what I'll be using it for. I really like how tow mirrors look on these trucks but I drove my buddy's HD with them and it almost gave me a headache looking into them. I suppose that is something you get comfortable with after awhile.
