The environmental impact by the Dodge floating in the water is nothing compared to driving the truck for 300.000mls and more.

 

But nevertheless I don't understand why they took the truck to the beach in the first place.

Of course in the article some tree hugger comments about enviromental impact. They would self implode if they saw the "enviromental impact" of ships and ports and the fuel and oil entering the water daily from them.
