First, he needs his ass kicked for leaning his elbows into the hood.

Second, saw him run a Hemi & Eco boost, when he saw the number & did not like them, he worked at it to knock off another second or so.

It's a 6000 lb 4 wheel drive stock pick up. You want blistering 0-60 buy a Vette.

Amazing power, but could the 2014 swapped engines or modified?

It may take time due to the new engines being direct injection but I'm sure we'll see performance mods for them soon.

But is the ECU locked? I talked with performance garage that swap race engines.

I hope the swapped engine can communicate properly with the vehicle's dashboard and everything.

Even if it is locked eventually the tuners will crack it, they always have so far.

Due to the amount of vehicles that these new V8's will be in, I suspect that won't take long. There will be alot of motivation to crack the ECU's in the corvettes and trucks.

Heck, the just cracked the ECU's on the 2013 rams and they haven't been on the street that long.

I hope they crack the ECU .. Swapping the engine is my goal after having the new sierra .. :driving:

Sad thing is the current weak ass stock 5.3 is that fast. 8.6 is the stock 5.3 with 3.42 0-60. If this is true that's pretty slow. I know its a truck and not a race car, but guys and their trucks like some way to have bragging rights. Plus usually faster means more power meaning more pulling power
