wow that is pretty bad. I would double check your bolts loosen them and then torque to the required foot pounds.

can anyone with a Mcgaughy 7-9" lift pls tell me if the front track width is widened beyond stock? After my tires wear out in a couple years I plan to possibly upgrade to a mcgaughy 7-9" lift (set at 8 or 9") and get some 22x11 Fuel lethals and 37x13.5 tires. Just want to know if I'll still need rear wheel spacers when I get the mcgaughy.

Thanks in advance!

I have the mcgaughy lift set at 8" and yes it does widen the track width in the front. I believe you need a 1.75"-2" spacer in the rear. A good thing about about a spacer that wide is that you won't have to trim studs. I still need to purchase some spacers for the rear. I will take measurements tomorrow if you want me to

I know where your coming from. Here's a video I took a while back in my truck.

There is a fix. I haven't had it done yet. Taken it in to the dealership twice now and the first time, they said its my level that caused it and the fact that someone else did my alignment. Second time, they couldn't recreate the problem. After doing a good amount of research, I found another member that had the same problem and had it fixed. Turns out it is infact the steering gear. The dealership replaced it and problem solved. My truck should be going in next week so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it solves the problem.

Is it under warranty or they going to give you trouble since you leveled it

sailor9908,

Your truck looks kick ass. How does it ride with the fox 2.5 reservoir front and rears? I'm thinking about these exact shocks for my 6" BDS lift.

These shocks are smooth as hell. Haven't taken it off road yet but in the city and highway its way better than stock. Just had to drop my tire pressures to 40, they put them at 48 during my last oil change and that was way too much air.

It's under warranty still. They did question the level, but the guys at the service dept at my dealership are all pretty cool guys. The first time they blamed it on the guys that did my alignment so I went back to them and they couldn't get it to go away. The reason they didn't see it the second time is, for me at least, the truck has to be warm for the clicking to start. Mine doesn't do it when it's cold.

Your dealership should take care of it unless they can prove your lift caused it.
