I'm new to this site and think I posted in wrong section. On my 3rd truck. Just bought a 15' GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab. Added Iron Cross Patroit Boards, mud flaps and XTang Folding Tonneau Cover. I've never nor do I know anything about lift suspension but sure would love to lift my truck. This is my 3rd truck and would love to get it up a bit higher. I also have Eagle LS2 P275/55R20 and don't want to change them if I don't have to. I want my truck to look level and tires aligned. I'm not looking to do any off-roading. It's simply for looks. The truck dealer near me recommended a 4.5" lift for Zone. I still need to be able to get into hospital/parking garages in downtown areas. So 4.5" is the max for me. Any and all advice is appreciated! If I can have the truck look the same but lifted up a bit would be great. I'm hoping my current tires and wheels would fine and not out of place? Thanks so much!

Hey bud did you do the 4.75 RC with control arms or without

a3avegyz.jpg4y4yte8u.jpgty2umy8a.jpgymume9up.jpgmevytaze.jpghumyge6u.jpg rough country 4.75 lift, 20x10 Moto Metal 970's with - 24 offset, 305/55R20 Toyo Open Country AT II's Extreme. Minor rubbing in reverse at full lock on the plastic trim. Not bad at all.

if i have a 2.5" rough country level on the front only would i have to remove it in order to put a 4-5 inch lift on?

i noticed a lot of these lift kits still have rake and i do not like the rake i like a nice leveled look.

Depends on what you are doing ? If you were doing a combo lift all it is a leveling kit and a body lift.

which is what the 4.75 lift is. except the fact it drops your diff also to give you a little more suspension lift. Alot of people do not like this lifts because they stress out the ball joint and cv axles.

I just picked up a rough country 5 inch bracket lift and they advertise that it levels the truck i for one do not like it completely level , but I have a helper spring in the back . I picked up the kit for 1000.00 plus 59.00 ship from an ebay retailer with a best offer and got it . that's 200 less than buying from rough country. For that price I could not see doing a lesser lift. Keep in mind its a lot of metal cutting if you are doing it yourself as I will be. I will post the results when I am done and some fender heights.

Yes I was thinking abt just adding the RC 1.25" body lift. Is that the combo lift you are talking abt?

I haven't seen a combo lift that lowers the diff do u have a link?

35x12.5x20 Trail Grapplers with 20x9 Fuel Krank. 0 offset and 5" backspace

Fuel is +1 not 0. And they don't look like +1. Mine stick out more. I would bet the are 14 or 20. I would check to make sure you didn't get the wrong rims. I could be wrong but they don't look like they are out enough

You are welcome. I made the error in a couple of posts. Tried to correct them, but it must have been to late I guess. Hope that helps you out some. If your tires stick out more, do you have 20x9 or 20x10 wheels? Or do you have spacers on your wheels? I do not have spacers on mine.
