If you get a chance to get a photo from the side just to see how much the tires stick out, i'd appreciate it! I really want to get the Zone 4.5'' lift with 35's but I don't want to have a rub that I can't fix/trim. Also, you guys suggest the RT's over the MTs? Just noise level? Or ride comfort as well? Thanks!

Best side-ish shot I have on my phone. Zone 4.5" with 305/55s on 20x10s

I'll get a dead on side shot this afternoon

Thanks Wildchevy, your truck looks awesome man. Ill be going with 20x9 with 20mm offset so i dont think mine would be stucking out much. Just need someone to tell me to buy the 35s and risk an easy trim job.

Got a few shots for ya...

Very dirty but it's too chilly to wash right now

Remember i have 1.5" spacers in the rear and nothing up front...

All is just ur standard 4" BDS lift with the 35x12.5x20 toyo RTs

With the Fox coilovers my truck definitely rode better than stock.

Well yeah I know yours does man lol. So does mine with fox coil overs. But the dudes with a 7" rough country, for example, are smoking something haha

Did you have to do any trimming for the 35s to fit?

Not one bit of trimming was done. If anything it just rubs the liner a tad in reverse at full lock. It looks wayyy close but everything fits just right.

Very nice. It's a similar setup that I want to get. I want the 4 inch BDS lift. How far out do the tires stick? I read because of the knuckle on the BDS lift that the front is out further than the rears. So I assume they stick out a bit and you need to get fender flares. But from the picks it looks like you don't need that. Maybe if I don't go for as wide as a tire, they will tuck in just nicely.

The tires stick out about an inch from the fenders. The fronts get pushed out because of the kit and the rears stay tucked inside. I have OCD so i had to space out the rears with a 1.5" spacer to even out the look or i would have gone crazy looking at the difference.

Sticking out is all personal preference but i very much like it when the tires stick out just a little.

Agreed. I think the tires sticking out a little looks great. If I go with the RCX 5" I'll need spacers for the rear as well.

I was running 295/60/20s and still rubbed at full lock with some trimming. The kit itself was a good kit and could complain. i did have coilovers custom built for the kit so that helped out on the ride. I just traded my truck last week lol.

Fabtech 4" lift, 295/60/20 trail grapplers on 20" BMF REPR's

Looks great!! How's the ride any issues with the lift after some time?

Thanks

    • And to top it off finally.......................these small GM LS engines are designed to SPIN!!!!!  Why choke them down to just off idle for cruising.  Why/how the "bean counters" have influenced the "engineering department" at GM is beyond me.   They took a solid platform of an engine and turned into a joke in OEM form!!!
    • Atlas,   Then following your logic we can't believe any story that the MSM produces? I mean it's documented they heavily donate to Democrat candidates. Vote Democrat in high percentages. Many MSM talents are married to Democrat politicians, Gov. employees. That goes for on-air and off, personalities and reporters. So they would all be biased and nothing they produce is to be believed in your mind?   Again the article simply was about ways AI can be used for pricing products. Nothing discounted current situations as a factor.    Again keep looking through your left/right lenses. I don't live my life that way.   And as a heads up this thread will be cleaned up again as much of this is off topic and is receiving
    • Yes, and only a couple years before delivery. 🙄
    • So you're saying toss the baby out with the bathwater? @txab posted article was her take on how AI can be used to manipulate pricing as it already does and has been rebuked by the judiciasry in housing. How AI can be and is used to maximize refinery or even Amazon operations all of which are true but because she is who she is; that makes what she says about what is true, false? Is that something akin to Pre-justice aka prejudice?    Look, I'm first in line to approach all information with caution just because we live in a world where people like to lie about someone or something with such a straight face and in such volume that it makes digging to the truth wearisome. Meaning I understand the skepticisms but if I were to toss out everything a person is for a view they hold then my pool of people to draw wisdom from would be non-existent and I'd be forced to reinvent the wheel daily. Not practical.    "Be innocent as a dove but as cautious as a serpent."    Test each word. Every good lie is part truth or no one would believe it. Find the truth in it and reject what isn't.    On this one, AI is being used to do what has been done by hand for hundreds of years already but at such speed, the point of a computer, that it is more easily monetized. This one wasn't that hard a lift.    I wrote a few formulas in a Lotus 123 program decades ago, a series of linked Macros actually, that allowed a daily inventory to be turned into a running P&L and production plan. Something that took three departments a week to assemble now took the time it takes to input the 'daily changes' in inventory. Later that was ungraded to the more powerful Excel program an and integrated with bar code scanning, inventory to supply was done once per shift. It had a huge impact on production scheduling, Seamless interruption flexibility, inventory error reduction, raw materials cost effective utilization and scrap reduction. Huge improvement in the bottom line. I spent months on that and AI could have done it in minutes. So yes, it not only can be used, they would be foolish to not try. The legality, ethics and morality are not the domain of AI. Humans need to keep a reign on it.
