So question about these options/upgrades during checkout on the Zone 6.5 lift. So i called my local shop and they are about 1.5weeks out from any new installs so if i could have them do it, it would be sometime after thanksgiving..So i figured id check and see online and looks like i could get the lift in before thanksgiving and i could install over the holidays..

So my question is on the shocks and add leaf.. what benefits will i get by choosing either the nitro or the fox? Is it worth selecting either over the hydro?
And on the rear leaf, no mention on their site, but on my 2011 F150 i did a rear add leaf along with a leveling kit and on that setup, they stated the rear leaf would allow an additional XXX lbs of payload you could carry.. (this was not a Zone lift on that truck, but curious if there is any benefits of adding the leaf) besides getting a true level look.

Add a leaf is recommended on crew cab. I got the zone 6.5 and the back end was lower then the front. It didn't look right so I added the leaf and now it's perfect

Anyone running 3.5" CST spindles? Thoughts? Track width increase?

Thanks in advance!

I am running the 4.5” cst stage 1 kit. But also have fox 2.5 coilovers and cognito upper control arms. With my kit the track width stays factory. Have had everything on for around 2,000 miles and everything is great so far!

Thanks for the info! I’m curious if the spindles will maintain the stock width. I guess i’ll give them a call.

So the CST 3.5" spindles will add approximately 1 inch of track width per side. This is straight from CST.

Really like the 4.5 height as I had it on my 14'.  Just picked up a 17' Sierra 1500, leveled with 33' ridge grapplers and was thinking about going back to the 4.5 height. How is the ride quality with your set up? I've looked at the zone 4.5 and others but want to get your experience with the CST Kit. Thanks

My personal opinion is the 4.5” fits our trucks the best....it looks soooo nice!!!.... so with my lift I have had it on around 2,000 miles. I’ve had no problems as of yet. I love how it rides, but I also upgraded the front coilovers to fox 2.5’s along with cognito UCA’s and fox 2.0 shocks in the rear. Any other questions please let me know! I’ll be happy to help in any way! Good luck!!!

My GMC dealer told me I could put the lift put on and they were cool with it, but wouldn't warranty the parts, obviously.  He also said that the GM rep for my area was hard on people who installed lifts, level kits, and programmers.   He would pull the warranty if he came into the shop and an "altered" truck was being worked on under warranty.  It didn't matter what the problem being worked on was.  Kinda, put the kibosh on my plans.

I put a Zone 6.5 on my 2014 sierra in August. No joke, within the first mile driving with the lift on the motor blew. Took it to the dealer and they said the lift would have no effect and it was just a coincidence. They covered the engine replacement completely.
