Zone and BDS are sister companies both owned by Fox. Their kits are ROUGHLY the the same.  If you want to get technical, BDS comes with top of the line struts and shocks, whereas with Zone those are add-on options.  BDS also has a no questions asked warranty on all of their parts, Zone has a limited lifetime warranty.

If you're going by kit, the BDS 4" and 6" kit are the same.  The only difference between the two are the height of the steering knuckles, and the spacers (to keep stock geometry). So really, same parent company, roughly the same warranty, and the same parts (with the exception of BDS's struts and shocks).

And obviously the price.  BDS is about $800 more expensive.

The 4 and 6” kits use the same knuckles. The only difference is struts and blocks.

As for Zone/BDS other than the struts/ strut spacer difference the basic makeup of the kits is identical.

No shit?  Some jack-knob on another forum told me the knuckle height was different!

Nope, it’s the same knuckle. The 6” kit basically just adds 2” to the 4” kit. With bds, it’s a longer strut, with Zone it’s a larger spacer

I’ve had 3 BDS kits and 2 Zone.

I’ve had 3 BDS kits and 2 Zone. On my previous tuck i converted from the 4.5 to the 6.5 kit, and all it was was struts/blocks.

Crazy! Well... Always good to know.  I'm going with Zone until my stock struts wear out.  Then I'm putting in 4-6" lift struts.

It’s gonna look great! Both Zone and bds are excellent kits

Slightly off topic.... Did you trim your lower valence?

I just swapped out the white hydraulic shocks that come with the zone 6.5 kit with Fox 2.0 shocks and the difference is very noticeable, in a good way. For anyone on the fence about which shocks to get with their zone kit, get the Fox 2.0 shocks !

Think I’ll have to do this, as well. I found a shop that will install for $980 out the door.

I paid around the same, California prices are so much higher than other states, I hear of people paying way less at shops, not so lucky here [emoji16]

Zone 4.5 with a 3/4" spacer under the strut. Rear has zone 4" block with aal.

275/65r20

On a side note would not discourage anyone from installing the lift themselves took about 7hrs for 3 of us not rushing with jacks and stands.

I did mine in the driveway, by myself in 20-25deg weather and it took around 12hrs total split between Saturday-Sunday. Directions are extremely well written, I went down the list step by step checking them off as I went.
