Recommended Posts

I have a 2014 GMC Sierra all terrain with 5inch rcx lift kit , 20x10 rockstar rims with -24 offset and 305/55/20 copper zeon ltz tires , amp power step , bushwaker pocket style fended flares , boral exhaust with metal mulisha 4 inch tip ... Looking to put 1.25 rough country or 1.5 zone body lift to fit 35's

Does anyone think a 35" tire on the stock rim ( Not sure of the backspacing) would fit on a 4 inch lift?

I have a 2wd if that makes a difference.

Thanks

Evan

Yes you can fit a 35" tire on a stock rim with the Zone Offroad lift or the BDS kit. I have seen both done and both are in this thread. The BDS lift is the 4" lift with stock 20" AT rims and a 275/65/20 BFG AT. The Zone offroad truck, 4.5" lift, has the stock chrome 20s and Cooper ST Maxx 35x12.5x20 tires.

I believe the member's names are Pancepance (BDS) and Mcrunner (Zone)

both of their trucks were 4wd I believe.

Hope this helps

Mine came like that apparently from factory , it was the last all terrain on the lot so they gave me a good deal on it

Can someone with the Zone 4.5" post a picture of their angles?

I have a crazy idea which I dont know will work or not. I'd love to lift the front of my truck about 3.5 or 4 inches but I don't want RC's 3.5" kit and I'm not spending the money for BDS's 4" kit (which I read is way over 4 inches anyways). I'm also not interested in overextended 4" kits like Mcgaughys or Readylift.

What if I installed Zones 4.5" kit, for example, but used RC's 3.5" spacers from their kit (or Bilstein adjustables with a 3" level block)?

Stupid idea? Would my angles be in the negative? I think Zone's 4.5" angles are pretty flat so I'm thinking the angle of my axles might be inverted.

I will when I get my truck back this week.
