It's a zone lift. The shop that installed it on there fb pic said 6" but I'm not sure if it is a 6.5". Wasn't sure if zone offered a 6" I mean a half inch isn't much.

every inch counts :thumbs::rollin:

SO..... I got my lift last summer. I was sent the incorrect spindles, had to have them next day aired and had to pay extra labor to have them swapped out. First set of lower strut bushings were junk within the first week of driving it. I was sent new bushings and had to pay the labor to swap them out. Second set of bushing are now junk. I called and they sent me 2 new struts with "updated" bushings. They showed up yesterday and today I was having them put in. Passenger went good, drivers side something internal was junk in the new strut I just received. SO now truck is sitting apart on hoist and have to wait until tomorrow AM for another strut to show up. Mcgaughys will not help me with ANY labor cost, even though they keep sending me JUNK!!!! NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER, WILL NEVER BUT ANOTHER MCGAUGHYS PRODUCT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUYERS BEWARE.

With my lift not so much. They did great on the leveling kit.

Ok so I finally got back in town from a business trip. I had my new 35x12.5x18 installed on my truck. Coming from 33" Toyo RT'S to the General Grabbers, night and day... much smoother ride. Lift is Zone 4.5, no rubbing at all, even at full lick. Very happy.

can you get some shots looking down the side to show how much they stick out? Also some measurements from ground to the wheel well if its not too much trouble? And 35s look a lot smaller than I thought they would on that zone 4.5. It must be taller than the BDS (although both of their kits that are supposed to be at 4" and 4.5" have been reported to be taller, I guess they made the Zone noticeably taller)

EDIT: for anyone curious, my comparison about the size difference between the BDS 4" and Zone 4.5 is coming from looking at the pictures in this thread where the OP has a BDS 4" and 35s

The truck above is a sierra with the wheel wells outlined in black which may be giving the illusion of more space around the tires in the picture. I called on both lifts and they said they were the same. Even still, 1/2 inch is not going to give dramatic results shown in these two pictures. Also, some tires are not true 35" when mounted, I did not check the specs on Generals. Maybe someone can clear this up for sure.

thanks man! Looks really good. Is that rake being caused by the air bags? I plan to do air bags when I get my lift but certainly don't want that much rake. I like the look of these trucks better when they are level front to back.

Ive checked both the Toyo MT (on the Silvy with the BDS kit) and the Generals. Both are manufacture spec'd at 35" as actual diameter. I did also take the black fender outlines into account but I don't think that is it. At least I can't imagine that the black outlines would make that big of a difference. I notice the most difference in that it looks taller. Much taller

Are the bags causing that take then?

(Sorry, newbie question here cause this'll be the first time I've had bags)
