That looks really sharp. May I ask what something like that runs?

$2,120 with the fold down front window, carpeted interior, second interior light, and tint. Pretty much the same as all toppers of this type.

Snugtop equivalent toppers seem to run a little higher than the Leer. I don't know if there is any quality difference, but since Leer moved out of CA and Snugtop is local to Long Beach CA, near me, I have been buying my last 3 or 4 from Snugtop. I have a good dealer that takes care of little issues that have come up and about 10 yrs ago, one of my toppers developed a crack. I drove to the factory and they removed it and repaired and repainted the entire topper and reinstalled it for free. Because of Snugtop being local, I'm probably going to stick with them for my 2014 topper.

Thanks for moving my post to a 8 month old post that everyone has looked at.

I plan to order an A.R.E Cap in a few days. My plan is a package deal, if it's good enough. I plan to go with a sprayed bedliner, then a rubber mat for the bed of the truck. The place I'm going does it all. I think I'll skip doing the spray in myself. The plan is to go with the common black for easy touch up later if needed.

I had thought about a cap with a rise to it, after measuring the garage door height I have to stick with cab height.

How much was this setup if you don't mind me asking. Got a quote from the ARE dealer here in Colorado for Z-Series starting at $2000 for 2014 Sierra Short Bed.

I do some firewood & dead deer at times, don't need to go fancy. It's mostly a dog & some gear back there. I went with the economy A.R.E. for about $1350 plus the $125 or so for the front tilt window. That's all I've had in the past, plenty good enough here.

PMD, That A R E z-series looks good enough for the girls i go out with ! I ordered one today for my dbl cab. I really like the looks of yours. Thnx for posting.

I also ordered a wade/westin front(bulkhead) cover to put on .Dont know why GM doesnt put one on in the factory.

I had a ARe on a 201, transferred it over to the 2014 without any problem

Took a little moving to get the rear door to close and latch.

Needed to move it back a little,

The rear hatch does come down in the middle of the taligate and might leak a little.

Looks real sharp.

I will need to take a few pictures to post
