And add a leafs will give you more weight capacity, but blocks are easier and quicker. But blocks will also cause more axle wrap, which you don't have to worry about because I doubt your laying down that much power at the wheels

Once you start cranking the keys past factory ride height, the front end will wear faster, no mmatter how high the rear is.

And axle wrap is more from the amount of power going through the drivetrain, but I'm sure tire size could cause some. And no, you won't have to worry about it. I did burnouts all the time on the 3" blocks with 285's

2wd's came with them as well as 07+ trucks. Is it possible? Yes. Do you want to spend a ton of money welding stuff on to the frame and having to get new a-arms and a bunch of other stuff? I doubt it.

And adding coil spacers will do the same thing as cranking torsion keys, so there is no advantage to converting because once you level a front end, they all cause the same problems

You CAN NOT put the stock coils from a truck like mine on to the same body 4wd. They use torsion bars because the coil would interfere with the front axle shafts. The 07+ use struts and they mount similar to shocks. If you want to go the strut route it will be a lot of time and money.

Pick up a leveling kit and 3" rear blocks. The company I got my level from sold that as a a small lift. I didnt have a block so I used a 1.25" block thrn I pulled that out when I went to 2500HD rear springs. Taking out the block and the new(used) springs brought up the rear another .25". So the 2500HD(5 leaf pack) springs give a 1.5" lift over the stock 1500(3 leaf pack) springs.

I'm sure, if he really wanted to, he could figure out how to get coil over shocks on there, but like we both said, too much time and money. At that point it is best to just get a new truck, because you'll spend at least a really good down payment on a conversion

The mount on the frame is too low to get a strut in there. And my results for rear lift are based on my measurements with my truck when I put the springs I picked up at a wrecking yard on the truck and my info on a level/lift to get 2.5" up front and one in the back came from my searches for my own truck and my friends 03 z71. Get a leveling kit to reindex your torsion bars and the 3" block. Fits the cheapest, quickest, and easiest way to get what you want.

Cranking my keys won't get high enough. I'm gonna get 3 inch blocks & 4 sx8000 gas shocks, with keys for the front . I think the back will lift up 1.5 inches & 2 inches in the front . I think I want it higher though idk, what size tires are 285/75/16

Roughly 33x11, but tire size varies slightly by manufacturer. And as far as lift goes your stock rear blocks are 2" tall so you'll gain and inch there. To calculate the front measure the height before you put in the keys and then adjust it from there after the keys. Just don't go over 2.5"...

Well yes. But if u don't measure it before and after u could possibly over crank it
