2014+ Leveling Kits

I know I like it! That's a good looking truck for sure.

Thank you guys, I am thoroughly enjoying every minute.

So I went with a 2.5" level lift and for tires I went with Toyo Open Country M/T 275/65r20.

So I'm new on here, but without reading ALL of the 181 pages, I've noticed that most people are using 20 inch rims, and have used tires such as 305/55/20 or 295/55/20. I have a 2014 Chevy Silverado with stock 18" rims. I'd like to just use the stock 18" rims, and then get leveling kit, and new aggressive grip tires. If I go with a 2.5" leveling kit, can I get tires such as 305/65/18 or will I have to go a little less taller with something like a 305/60/18? Does anyone have something similar to this on their truck? If so, can you please offer advice, comments, and/or pictures please. Thank you.

Is there supposed to be a difference in bolt sizes for leveling kits for the aluminum and steel control arms I ordered a moto fab 2 inch leveling kit and I read somewhere the steel control arms require a 80 mm bolt

I wanted to do the exact same thing. I got the Rough Country 2' level and put 305/65/18 BFG All Terrains on my truck. No rubbing at all - it looked great. So a 2.5" level should work great.

Good looking truck. I just picked myself up a 2015 1500 High Country as well. How well do the 33/12.5s fit with the 2.5 level kit? Any rubbing? Any issues using those stock rims? I had 305/55/R20s on my Tahoe that I just traded in and had some trimming to do with the Rancho quicklift installed. I was initially thinking of just going with a 33x11.5-ish tire with the stock wheels. Any issues with pinion angle or steering geometry with the leveling kit?

How will a leveling kit do with these factory 22" GM wheels with 285/45/R22's? I want a more aggressive off road tire that has more sidewall, but not sure what the best size would be for the 2" level lift. Any advice is appreciated!7473330315x640.jpg

i had 305 35 24's on a 10" wheel on my 2014 with 2" rear lowering shackles and no problems. what you are wanting to run is both narrower and shorter so you should be fine

How did you put on a leveling kit with the sensors for the shocks on the front? Did your lift kit have lowering brackets for sensors? If so what are they and where did you get them. I have a Blue Denali 15 model I want to level. Thanks!

The level kit does have relocator brackets for the semsor mounts. Super easy install. I was impressed, rides the same.

The 305/65/18's that were posted look really great. I'd say that's probably about the max size, without doing any trimming. Some other popular sizes to consider with a level kit are 275/70/18, 305/60/18, 285/65/18, and 33x12.50x18.

I'm thinking about these exact tires for my winter set. Do they rub the sway bar at full lock in either direction?

ok thanks for the info. I think im gonna go with 275/70/18 stt pros as I am not doing a body lift and this is my daily driver and I want zero rubbing.
