Catman HD Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 Just got Readylift 2.25" on my 2016 2wd gmc Sierra. Running 295/55/20 on stock rims. Tires are rubbing A arms. Has anyone used the 1/4 or 1/2 spacers? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

Those won't be too bad but still, you are far better off getting less positive offset wheels. Sent from my treestand using Tapatalk
Catman HD Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 What offset would I need to run? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
MOhunter92 Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 What offset would I need to run? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk At least +18 for no rubbing Sent from my treestand using Tapatalk

MOhunter92 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 (edited) There's a ton of guys running 295s and +18 with no rubbing, not sure what to tell you, also know somebody running 305/65r18 on +18 xd wheels on a RCX 2.5 level no rubbing Sent from my treestand using Tapatalk Edited August 27, 2016 by MOhunter92
Catman HD Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Well not sure if it's the LT295/55/20 Toyo Open country's aggressive tread, but seeing how I've got the newer Stamped steel control arms and almost everyone I have talked with have to swap control arms for lift kits. Wondering if this has something to do with it. Wheel shop it gonna order one more set of rims and see if can make them work. If not may have to go to smaller tires. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk I bet that's the issue. Any level over 2 inches has issues with those arms, has to do with upper arm not having enough clearance not to hit the strut. I know you haven't said anything about that and I'm sure the sway bar isn't located closer to the tire with those, but that has to be what the problem is Sent from my treestand using Tapatalk Edited August 27, 2016 by MOhunter92
Catman HD Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Not sure, but first tire rubbed on control are now with new wheels, rubbing on sway bar....find out next week. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
MOhunter92 Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 That's really weird, doesn't make much sense.. I'm not sure, I'm just glad I have the cast steel arms on my 16 Sent from my treestand using Tapatalk
